Cameras, smart sensors combined with privacy

Many healthcare organisations want to make more use of cameras. This often raises the issue as to how they should deal with privacy. Smart sensors are regularly used in healthcare, but not all of them are equipped with a camera. How can healthcare organisations use smart sensors and cameras while offering their clients and patients maximum privacy?

IQ Messenger developed a number of advanced options in this context. For example, IQ Messenger can make camera images available only to healthcare professionals in the event of an alarm trigger. In addition to this option, IQ Messenger also allows you to enable or disable a smart sensor in privacy mode via a QR code or NFC tag scan.

Do you want to be able to switch a smart sensor on or off remotely or only certain parts of a smart sensor, such as acoustic? No problem, IQ Messenger has a Profile Dashboard where all systems can be switched on or off via desktop and SmartApp.

Information security and access to information

IQ Messenger is ISO 27001 certified for information security. Using the admin tool, you can create automated or manual profiles for different users to determine which camera images they have access to. Naturally, all our apps are fully encrypted and as an administrator you can see all system actions of users via logging. This provides full assurance to your healthcare organisation relating to safe use of our applications, where alarms are distributed via a monitored chain.
