The combination of both ward and separate boxes/rooms prepares the nurses for the future migration to single rooms. Alarms are now exchanged with the SmartApp on a healthcare suitable smart device. In this current first phase, alarm prioritisation is applied which ensures that alarms with priority are at the top of the list. This functionality contributes to better alarm management and the reduction of alarm fatigue.
